Note: If a shipment is returned after waybill printing due to customer issues, a return fee of RMB 50 per shipment will be charged, and no disputes will be accepted.
Volumetric Weight Calculation
Volumetric weight is calculated as: Length (cm) × Width (cm) × Height (cm) / 5000. The actual chargeable weight will be the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight. All shipments via this channel will be exported with replacement invoices.
Additional Fees & Surcharges
For additional fees such as return fees, customs duties, and address change fees, a 2% account service fee will be added based on the official bill amount. This service fee will not be reflected in the official DHL bill and shall be subject to our company's bill.
Important Shipping Terms & Conditions
Once the customer delivers the goods, it is deemed that they have carefully read, understood, and unconditionally accepted the following terms and conditions. There shall be no disputes, and the final interpretation right shall belong to our company.
1. Declaration Requirements for EU & UK Shipments
The 27 EU countries refuse to accept shipments with a declared value below USD 150.
For shipments to the UK, regardless of the declared value, a transaction certificate must be provided.
If DHL suspects under-declaration (even if the declared value exceeds USD 150), resulting in return or additional fees, the shipper shall bear all responsibilities and costs, with no disputes allowed.
The transaction certificate must be submitted to our company along with the invoice and waybill. If no transaction certificate is provided with the shipment, DHL will directly return the shipment if it is seized or suspected of under-declaration (regardless of the declared value). The shipper shall bear the re-issuance fee and return shipping fee, with no disputes allowed.
2. Customs Duties & Related Fees
The quoted price does not include destination customs duties, re-delivery fees, customs inspection fees, storage fees, and destination return shipping fees. If the consignee refuses to pay these fees, they will be automatically transferred to the shipper for payment. This clause is valid for a long term, and no disputes will be accepted.
3. Deposit Requirements for Specific Countries
Shipments to Brazil, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia require a deposit. The specific deposit amount depends on the volume of each shipment, ranging from RMB 1,000 to RMB 10,000. For detailed amounts, please contact our sales or financial department. Documents do not require a deposit.
4. Invoice Requirements
Invoices must include Chinese and English product names, quantity, material, HS code, unit price, and total amount. Each product name on the invoice must be clearly marked with the corresponding HS code. Failure to comply will be deemed as entrusting our company to handle the invoice. Our company shall not be liable for any problems arising from our invoice operation.
5. Return Shipment Instructions
If an overseas return occurs due to non-DHL reasons, the return shipping fee and related return costs shall be unconditionally borne by the shipper. All overseas returns (including small parcels) will be charged based on volumetric weight, and the chargeable weight will be the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight. The return fee shall be subject to the service provider's bill, and no disputes will be accepted.
6. Prohibited & Restricted Items
We refuse to accept counterfeit products, liquids, powders, drugs, weapons, tobacco, and other products prohibited from export by the state. If any prohibited items are concealed and seized, an inspection fee of RMB 5,000 to RMB 20,000 per shipment will be charged, and the shipping fee will not be refunded. No disputes will be accepted.
7. Additional Service Terms
Over-Value Fee: Waived.
Battery-Powered Goods: We accept battery-powered goods with no additional surcharge. However, "with battery" must be clearly indicated on the packing list. If our company detects battery-powered goods without prior declaration, an inspection fee of RMB 200 per shipment will be charged. If detected by DHL officials, an inspection fee of RMB 2,000 to RMB 50,000 will be charged, which shall be borne by the shipper with no disputes allowed.
Individual Customs Declaration: The fee for individual customs declaration is RMB 200 per shipment. The packing list must be clearly marked for individual customs declaration during handover. Our company shall not be liable for missed customs declaration due to failure to note, and the shipper shall bear corresponding responsibilities.
Tariff Prepayment: We accept tariff prepayment. A service fee of 2% of the total destination tax amount (minimum RMB 150 per shipment) will be charged if the shipper pays the destination import tax. The specific tax and service fee shall be borne by the shipper with no disputes allowed. If a request for tariff prepayment is made after the shipment is delivered, an additional tariff prepayment service fee of RMB 85 per shipment will be charged. If the consignee fails to pay the tax, customs clearance fee, or customs fine at the destination, our company will directly collect these fees from the shipper plus the standard service fee, with no disputes allowed.
8. Overweight/Over-Length Surcharges
For items with a single side length exceeding 100cm (inclusive), an over-length fee of RMB 160 × fuel surcharge per piece will be charged.
For items with a single actual weight exceeding 25kg (inclusive) but within 25-69kg, an overweight fee of RMB 160 × fuel surcharge per piece will be charged.
For items with a single chargeable weight exceeding 70kg (inclusive), an overweight fee of RMB 850 × fuel surcharge per piece will be charged.
Note: The above surcharges are not cumulative. If an item has a single side length over 100cm and a chargeable weight between 25-69kg, only one surcharge of RMB 160 × fuel surcharge per piece will be charged. If the overweight fee for items over 70kg has been charged, the overweight fee for items over 25kg and the over-length fee will not be charged again.
9. Address Change Surcharge
If delivery fails due to incorrect or incomplete consignee address, a new delivery address provided by the customer will incur an address change service fee of RMB 100 per shipment plus the official DHL re-delivery fee. The official re-delivery fee shall be subject to the official bill and borne by the shipper with no disputes allowed.
10. Non-Stackable Shipment Surcharge
A surcharge of RMB 2,500 × fuel surcharge per piece will be applied to:

If not collected before shipment, our company will attempt to appeal to DHL if the fee is subsequently imposed, but success is not guaranteed. If DHL does not approve the appeal within one week, the fee shall be unconditionally borne by the shipper with no disputes allowed.
11. Remote Area Surcharge
A remote area surcharge will be applied at a rate of RMB 5/kg × fuel surcharge, with a minimum charge of RMB 250 × fuel surcharge per shipment. Customers are required to check remote addresses in advance; our company does not provide this check service. If not collected before shipment, the fee shall be subject to the official DHL bill and borne by the shipper with no disputes allowed.
12. High-Risk Area Surcharge
For destinations where DHL operations are at risk due to war, riot, strike, or terrorism, a surcharge of RMB 260 × fuel surcharge per shipment will be charged. Involved countries include: Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Mali, Niger, Sudan, Syria, Burkina Faso, Lebanon, Yemen, Venezuela, Haiti, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Israel, Ukraine.
13. Restricted Destination Surcharge
This surcharge applies to destinations subject to UN Security Council trade restrictions, at a rate of RMB 325 × fuel surcharge per shipment. Involved countries include: Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Burkina Faso, Lebanon, Yemen.
14. Customs Clearance Storage Fee
If customs clearance is delayed due to inaccurate or missing customs documents, storage fees will be charged 3 days after the goods arrive and the agent is notified for customs clearance. The fee standard is: RMB 42 per shipment per day + RMB 0.9 per kg per day.
15. Telecom Certificate Fee
All products that can transmit radio waves, such as mobile phones, walkie-talkies, and routers, must be accompanied by a telecom certificate. If no telecom certificate is provided, a fee of RMB 50 per shipment will be charged; for shipments exceeding 50 units, a fee of RMB 2 per unit will be charged.
16. Third-Party Customs Clearance Surcharge
The quoted price does not include the third-party customs clearance surcharge, which has a minimum of RMB 100 per shipment. The final fee shall be subject to the DHL bill. Since this fee cannot be predicted before shipment, it shall be borne by the shipper if incurred subsequently with no disputes allowed. For example, if the shipment tracking shows that the consignee designates a customs clearance agent for clearance, a third-party customs clearance surcharge will be incurred.
Note: The above additional fees are for reference only. For other unmentioned additional fees, if not collected before shipment, our company will unconditionally collect them from the shipper when DHL issues the subsequent bill, and no disputes will be accepted.
